Cell surface CD11c as a neutrophil aging marker molecule
Cell surface CD11chi neutrophils were more aged and had better phagocytic function than CD11c−/lo neutrophils. Transcriptomic analysis of CD11chi neutrophils and CD11c−/lo neutrophils in pediatric population showed that the most difference was seen in infants.

The economic value of food labels: A lab experiment on safer infant milk formula [PDF]
Enterobacter sakazakii, a pathogen that can be found in powdered infant milk formula, can cause adverse health effects on infants. Using Vickrey auction, this study examines parents' willingness to pay (WTP) for a quality assurance label on powdered ...

Review of the effectiveness of the controls on infant formula and follow-on formula, Literature Review [PDF]
The objectives of the research were as follows: • To assess whether infants under 6 months are being fed follow-on formula and if so, the reasons why • To assess whether the new controls upon the ways in which follow-on formula are presented and ...

Supersymmetry and trace formulas. Part III. Frenkel trace formula
By applying the new supersymmetric localization principle introduced in [5, 6], we present two complementary approaches for the path integral derivation of the ‘non-chiral’ trace formula for a semisimple compact Lie group G, which generalizes the so ...

Human ABCE1 cannot functionally replace its yeast ortholog. Yeast–human chimera analysis identified NBD1 as a major interspecies barrier. Genetic screening yielded hABCE1 revertants that rescue yeast viability but fail to suppress aberrant translation reinitiation in the 3′ UTR.

Functional screening identified PcSyn14890, a cyanobacteria‐specific protein that enhances growth and stress resistance in E. coli and Synechocystis PCC6803. Although we expected it to function as a molecular chaperone, it was unable to protect against thermal aggregation of GAPDH.

Some Fixed Point Theorem for Mapping on Complete
We prove some fixed point results for mapping satisfying sufficient conditions on complete -metric space, also we showed that if the -metric space is symmetric, then the existence and uniqueness of these fixed point results follow from well-known ...

In vitro generation of regulatory T cells: A challenging tool for studying immune aging in humans
In vitro induction of human regulatory T cells using standard protocols generates suppressive, Foxp3‐expressing CD4+ T cells independently of TGF‐β supplementation and donor age. Regulatory T (Treg) cells play a key role in immune tolerance and homeostasis.
