Solid Identification of Extragalactic Gamma-Ray Source Using High-Resolution Radio Interferometric Observation

open access: yesUniverse
The dominant fraction of the extragalactic γ-ray sources are blazars, active galactic nuclei with jets inclined ata small angle to the line of sight. Apart from blazars, a few dozen narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies (NLS1) and a number of radio galaxies are

A Low Psoas Muscle Index Was Associated With a Poorer Overall Survival in Patients Who Underwent Percutaneous Nephrostomy

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
In patients with malignant ureteral obstruction undergoing percutaneous nephrostomy, sarcopenia defined by a low psoas muscle index was independently associated with poor overall survival on multivariate Cox regression analysis, suggesting that preoperative assessment of psoas muscle index may aid prognostic stratification in this population.

A Cohen-Type Inequality for Jacobi-Sobolev Expansions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2007
Let be the Jacobi measure supported on the interval [-1, 1]. Let us introduce the Sobolev-type inner product , where . In this paper we prove a Cohen-type inequality for the Fourier expansion in terms of the orthonormal polynomials associated with the ...

Self‐Regulated Learning Meets AI: Reinterpreting Self‐Regulation, Co‐Regulation, and Socially Shared Regulation in Human–AI Interaction

open access: yesNew Directions for Adult and Continuing Education, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Advancing artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed learning and work, yet higher education and professional development programs have not systematically equipped learners for AI‐prevalent environments. This lack of preparation creates uncertainty regarding control, responsibility, trust, and accountability.

Uncovering G Protein‐Coupled Receptors: Novel Targets and Biomarkers for Predicting Glioma Prognosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Low‐grade gliomas (LGG) exhibit significant heterogeneity and recurrence risk. G protein‐coupled receptors (GPCR) contribute to glioma malignant progression, but their prognostic value remains unclear. This work attempts to formulate a GPCR‐based outcome‐predicting model for LGG. Methods Based on TCGA LGG data, the enrichment scores
