The response of aging mice to L‐carnitine induced activation of ACar metabolism in BAT requires Sirt3 expression. Mechanically, Sirt3 regulated ACar metabolism via HIF1α‐PPARα signaling pathway to promote BAT thermogenesis. Gut microbiota‐directed dietary factors enhance exercise performance in mice
Abstract This study investigated the effect of dietary interventions targeting gut microbiota on exercise performance in mice. Analysis of the gut microbiota of individuals with varying levels of physical activity revealed enrichment of Eubacterium rectale and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii in the active population.
