Propagation time for probabilistic zero forcing
Zero forcing is a coloring game played on a graph that was introduced more than ten years ago in several different applications. The goal is to color all the vertices blue by repeated use of a (deterministic) color change rule. Probabilistic zero forcing

Testing the linearity of the response to combined greenhouse gas and sulfate aerosol forcing [PDF]
Detection and attribution studies of the temperature response to anthropogenic greenhouse gases and tropospheric sulfate aerosol have relied on the assumption that the responses to each of these forcings add linearly. Using surface temperature from three

Maximum Oriented Forcing Number for Complete Graphs
The \emph{maximum oriented $k$-forcing number} of a simple graph $G$, written $\MOF_k(G)$, is the maximum \emph{directed $k$-forcing number} among all orientations of $G$.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Silver nanoparticles preplant bulb soaking affects tulip production
Nanomaterials and particularly silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have increased great interest in many fields of science. The element may affect plant growth and development but so far research studies have been scarce and their results disparate.

The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Relative contributions to surface shortwave irradiance over China: A new index of potential radiative forcing [PDF]
The contributions of atmospheric factors to surface shortwave irradiance (S) variability was investigated, using radiative transfer calculations to examine all sky (both cloud-free and cloudy) conditions. We defined the sensitivities of S to differential
