Influence of Experience upon Form Constancy
Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1963The purpose of these studies was to explore the hypothesis that form constancy develops as a result of learning and to isolate some of the conditions of learning which are effective in producing form constancy. By form constancy is meant simply that S perceives a form as invariant even though the form changes in spatial orientation.
