The Limits of Stochastic Integrals of Differential Forms

open access: yesThe Annals of Probability, 1999
This long article is concerned with developing an appropriate stochastic calculus for a diffusion process \(X\) on a manifold \(E\). It is assumed that \(X\) is associated with a second-order elliptic differential operator in divergence form with measurable coefficients. The first main result is an extension of the Lyons-Zheng decomposition to the case

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Theoretical Determination of Forming Limit Stress Diagram for Steel 1021 Sheet

open access: yesTikrit Journal of Engineering Sciences, 2013
Forming limit stress diagram represent the maximum acceptable limits of  principal stresses in sheet metal forming. This diagram show the limits of major and minor true stresses for different strain paths (uniaxial tension, plane strain and equibiaxial ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Describing tube formability during pulsating hydroforming using forming limit diagrams

open access: yes, 2017
Pulsating hydroforming is a novel forming technique that applies pulsating hydraulic pressure to deform tubular materials. Larger expansions and more uniform wall thicknesses in tubes have reportedly been achieved using this technique. However, periodic

Experimental investigation of forming limit curves and deformation features in warm forming of an aluminium alloy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The determination of forming limit curves and deformation features of AA5754 aluminium alloy are studied in this article. The robust and repeatable experiments were conducted at a warm forming temperature range of 200 °C–300 °C and at a forming speed ...
