We investigated ontogenetic variation in diet composition of the Amur softshell turtle (Pelodiscus maackii) from a temperate large‐river system using stomach content analyses of field‐collected individuals. Dietary composition differed markedly across body‐size classes, indicating pronounced ontogenetic trophic differentiation and shifts in resource ...

Nitric Oxide in Cancer: Mechanisms, Dual Role, and Therapeutic Strategies
Nitric oxide exerts concentration‐dependent dual roles in cancer, functioning as either a tumor promoter or suppressor. This review comprehensively examines NO's multifaceted regulation of tumor biology, including S‐nitrosylation signaling, metabolic reprogramming, immunemodulation, and therapy resistance, and highlights emerging therapeutic strategies

Sleep Deprivation and Neuronal Hyperexcitation Share Transcriptomic Signatures
This study demonstrated that sleep deprivation induces transcriptomic changes in mice and rats similar to those observed in various models of neuronal hyperexcitation. These findings suggest a potential link between sleep deprivation and neuropsychiatric disorders.

Frog skin‐derived peptides are screened for prospective ERK2 inhibitors using docking calculations, molecular dynamics, MM/GBSA binding energy calculations, and physicochemical properties. The results propose that dermaseptin‐B3, dermaseptin‐PD‐1, and ascaphin‐8 can act as effective inhibitors of ERK2, warranting further in‐depth in vitro and in vivo ...

Abstract The Fanconi anemia complementation group M protein (FANCM)–MHF complex is required for branched DNA recognition in the Fanconi anemia pathway, but structural analysis of the intact complex has been hindered by dissociation of FANCM from the FANCM‐associated histone fold (MHF) heterotetramer under crystallization conditions.

Abstract Crop yields integrate contemporaneous weather and lagged vegetation and subsurface water states that reflect eco‐hydrological memory. However, these controls are observed only during the satellite era, creating a temporal mismatch between multi‐decadal crop‐yield records and limiting data‐driven models ability to learn antecedent vegetation ...

Do universal owners behave like universal owners? The emergence of a financial sector norm
Abstract The past few years have seen a surge in scholarship on universal ownership, systematic stewardship, and system‐level investing. These concepts describe the reality that large diversified owners of capital own a more or less representative slice of the market and therefore must concern themselves with systemic risks to the financial system as a
