ABSTRACT Mast cells (MCs), key innate immune sentinels at the host–environment interface, serve as primary responders to invading pathogens. However, their specific contribution to host defense against cutaneous Candida albicans (C. albicans) infection and their synergy with other immune and non‐immune cells remain poorly understood. Here, we show that

Microbial treatment approaches for high-purity fructo-oligosaccharides production [PDF]
The production of high-purity fructooligosaccharides (FOS), known as prebiotics, by sucrose fermentation using whole microbial cells has been recently explored.

Paraventricular CRF neurons in the hypothalamus project to glutamatergic neurons of the spinal trigeminal caudal nucleus, enhancing neuronal activation and CRFR2 signaling. This pathway increases CRF release and excitatory drive, promoting central sensitization and migraine‐related behaviors. Targeting the PVN–SP5C circuit provides a potential strategy

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) intake modulates oxidative stress and restores gut morphology in Giardia lamblia-infected gerbils [PDF]
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of fructooligosaccharide (FOS) supplementation on the prevention of experimental giardiasis by analyzing morphological, biochemical, and parasitological parameters in a gerbil model.

T Cell Exhaustion in Cancer Immunotherapy: Heterogeneity, Mechanisms, and Therapeutic Opportunities
T cell exhaustion limits immunotherapy efficacy. This article delineates its progression from stem‐like to terminally exhausted states, governed by persistent antigen, transcription factors, epigenetics, and metabolism. It maps the exhaustion landscape in the TME and proposes integrated reversal strategies, providing a translational roadmap to overcome

Antidepressant-like effects induced by galanin 2/neuropeptide Y Y1 heterodimers in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus [PDF]
Previously, we have described the Galanin (GAL) and Neuropeptide Y Y1 (NPYY1) interactions through GAL receptor 2 and NPYY1 receptor 1 (GALR2/NPYY1R) heterodimers in the Dentate Gyrus (DG) of the Hippocampus, using autoradiographic, in situ ...

An activity‐dependent pathway links prefrontal circuit hypoactivity to cognitive impairment. Reduced PVA–mPFC activity upregulates NEPAS, which suppresses PTX3 secretion, leading to impaired angiogenesis, myelin deficits, and memory decline. Rescue is achieved by NEPAS knockdown or chemogenetic circuit activation.

Protein complexes like KIBRA‐PKMζ are crucial for maintaining memories, forming month‐long protein traces in memory‐tagged neurons, but conventional RNA‐seq analysis fails to detect their transcript changes, leaving memory molecules undetected in the shadows of abundantly‐expressed genes.
