In order to improve the quality of the power injected into a grid, this paper presents a model predictive control strategy for three-phase four-leg grid-tied inverters. For the convenience of optimization, the discrete-time model of the inverter in which duty ratios are modeled as continuous control variables is investigated.

Introducing PNEUMA: A Hybrid Soft Pneumatic Fabric Bidirectional Actuation Module for Wearable Robotics

Stiffness‐Programmable Origami Robots With Tendon‐Driven Actuation via Multimaterial 3D Printing

Motion diversity is achieved in a tendon‐driven origami robot through programmable stiffness rather than modified actuation. Multimaterial 3D printing embeds soft creases, modular inserts redirect identical tendon inputs into distinct behaviors, and variable‐stiffness inserts enable real‐time switching.
