Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

150-Channel Four Wave Mixing Based Multiwavelength Brillouin-Erbium Doped Fiber Laser
A wide band tunable multiwavelength Brillouin-erbium fiber laser (BEFL) is developed. In this structure, the laser is formed between a double pass amplification box and a highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF), which acts as a virtual mirror, results in removing ...

Design of four-wave mixing frequency-shift-free amplitude regenerators
Frequency-shift-free all-optical amplitude regenerators based on fiber-four-wave mixing were investigated by means of simulations. These regenerators, comprised of two stages of highly nonlinear dispersion-shifted fiber, were designed using a heuristic ...

Impact of nonlocal response in plasmonic metasurfaces on four-wave mixing
We report the impact of nonlocal response in metallic nanostructures on four-wave mixing (FWM) process in nonlinear plasmonic metasurfaces which consist of Au nanostrips coupled with Au film spaced by an ultrathin dielectric film.

Deep‐UV (258 nm) femtosecond pulses enable uniform amorphous silicon writing on Si(100)/(111) with a six‐fold larger fluence amorphization window than NIR methods. Optimized fluence and overlap yield 20–45 nm uniform and continuous amorphous layers. Microscopy shows sharp interfaces, and real‐time reflectivity reveals nanosecond melt–resolidification ...

Phase Control of Optical Nonreciprocity in Photonic Bandgap Four-Wave Mixing
We investigate the optical nonreciprocity induced by the parametrical amplification and the radiation trapping in an atomic photonic bandgap system both theoretically and experimentally.

Solvate ionic liquids lubrication reduced the coefficient of friction by ∼60% compared to dry sliding, reaching steady‐state values as low as 0.04–0.05. Corrosion weight‐loss measurements in 1 M HCl further demonstrated significant inhibition behavior, with only 100 ppm of [Li(G3)][TFSI] (∼68.5 μL/L) reducing corrosion‐product weight loss by 63 ...

Four-Wave Mixing Aplication in Semiconductor Optical Amplifier
Four-Wave Mixing (FWM) in semiconductor optical amplifiers is an attrative mechanism for wavelenght coversion in wavelenght-division multiplexed (WDM) systems since it provides modulation format and bit rate transparency over wide tuning ranges. A series
