A linearized and conservative Fourier pseudo-spectral method for the damped nonlinear Schrödinger equation in three dimensions

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we propose a linearized Fourier pseudo-spectral method, which preserves the total mass and energy conservation laws, for the damped nonlinear Schrödinger equation in three dimensions. With the aid of the semi-norm equivalence between the Fourier pseudo-spectral method and the finite difference method, an optimal $L^2$-error estimate for ...

Cyclodextrin‐Functionalized Light‐Driven Cu2O Micromotors for Simultaneous Capture and Degradation of Bisphenol A

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Fuel‐free Cu2O‐based micromotors functionalized with β‐cyclodextrin actively remove bisphenol A from water under visible light. The cyclodextrin shell captures BPA and enhances micromotor motility, leading to faster degradation and higher overall removal than nonfunctionalized Cu2O and Cu2O@Au.

Frequency Domain Sampling Optimization of Cable Defect Detection and Location Method Based on Exponentially Increased Frequency Reflection Coefficient Spectrum

open access: yesEnergies
The existing linear frequency increment cable defect detection method using frequency domain reflectometry suffers from severe pseudo-peak phenomena due to non-targeted frequency domain sampling, which interferes with diagnosis.
