PAX3–FOXO1 fusion gene in rhabdomyosarcoma [PDF]
Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is the most common soft tissue sarcoma of childhood and adolescence. The predominant histologic variants of this disease are termed embryonal (eRMS) and alveolar (aRMS), based on their appearance under light microscopy. Of the two, aRMS is associated with an more aggressive disease pattern and a higher mortality, mandating a ...

Our findings indicate that a pediatric/AYA‐specific targeted panel deployed in a hospital can deliver rapid, clinically actionable molecular insights with high diagnostic and prognostic yield. This complements larger sequencing platforms by offering speed, focused content, and easier interpretation.

An extensive analysis of the prognostic and immune role of FOXO1 in various types of cancer
Forkhead Box O1 (FOXO1) has been reported to play important roles in many tumors. However, FOXO1 has not been studied in pan-cancer. The purpose of this study was to reveal the roles of FOXO1 in pan-cancer (33 cancers in this study).

Effects of Polyphenols on Oxidative Stress-Mediated Injury in Cardiomyocytes [PDF]
Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of mortality and morbidity in the world. Hypertension, ischemia/reperfusion, diabetes and anti-cancer drugs contribute to heart failure through oxidative and nitrosative stresses which cause cardiomyocytes ...

Ramucirumab (RAM) plus docetaxel (DOC) after PD‐1 inhibitors showed clinical activity, with responders exhibiting maintained anti–PD‐1 (IgG4+)‐bound CD8+ T cells and decreased IgG4+ Tregs. A sequential strategy of administering RAM plus DOC during persistent anti–PD‐1 antibody binding may be beneficial in patients with advanced non‐small cell lung ...

The authors investigated the effects of various glycan ligands for CLEC10A, a lectin receptor expressed on dendritic cells (DCs). Monocyte‐derived DCs were stimulated with glycan‐conjugated dendrimers in combination with the TLR1/2 ligand Pam3CysK4, and responses were investigated at the mRNA and protein level.

Transcriptional regulation of human NMNAT2: insights from 3D genome sequencing and bioinformatics
NMNAT2 is a valuable drug target, as low levels increase the risk of neurodegeneration. We employed 4C‐seq to identify NMNAT2 regulatory regions in the human genome, revealing distinct interactomes of the NMNAT2 promoter in undifferentiated and neuron‐like SH‐SY5Y cells. Additionally, we uncovered NMNAT2‐associated genes and transcription factors. This
