On an Inequality of H. G. Hardy
We state, prove, and discuss new general inequality for convex and increasing functions. As a special case of that general result, we obtain new fractional inequalities involving fractional integrals and derivatives of Riemann-Liouville type ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Fractional characteristic functions, and a fractional calculus approach for moments of random variables [PDF]
In this paper we introduce a fractional variant of the characteristic function of a random variable. It exists on the whole real line, and is uniformly continuous.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Statistical Distribution Theory and Fractional Calculus
This is an overview paper. This paper is an attempt to show that fractional calculus can be reached through statistical distribution theory. This paper brings together results on fractional integrals and fractional derivatives of the first and second ...

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...
