A Domain Decomposition Method for Time Fractional Reaction-Diffusion Equation
The computational complexity of one-dimensional time fractional reaction-diffusion equation is O(N2M) compared with O(NM) for classical integer reaction-diffusion equation. Parallel computing is used to overcome this challenge.

Anomalous diffusion and fractional advection-diffusion equation
Anomalous diffusion happens often in nature and society systems. In this paper, we develop a nonlocal method with temporal and spatial correlations to introduce a fractional order advectiondiffusion equation based on the usually used local 2_nd order advectiondispersion equation.

The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...

Fractional Brownian motions ruled by nonlinear equations
In this note we consider generalized diffusion equations in which the diffusivity coefficient is not necessarily constant in time, but instead it solves a nonlinear fractional differential equation involving fractional Riemann-Liouville time-derivative ...

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...

This study examines how several molten high‐silicon electrical steels interact with both conventional and recycled MgO–C refractories. For this, various immersion experiments are conducted. In addition to infiltration, a number of mechanisms are identified and explained that control the corrosion of the refractory material.

The Inverse Nodal problem for the fractional diffusion equation
In this paper, on a general finite interval, the inverse problem of recovering the potential function for a fractional diffusion equation with new spectral parameter, called the nodal point, is given.

Time Fractional Fisher–KPP and Fitzhugh–Nagumo Equations
A standard reaction–diffusion equation consists of two additive terms, a diffusion term and a reaction rate term. The latter term is obtained directly from a reaction rate equation which is itself derived from known reaction kinetics, together with ...

Packaging of Macroscopic Material Payloads: Needs, Challenges, Concepts, and Future Directions
This review introduces a unified framework that decomposes any macroscopic packaging system into the payload, packaging material, and packaging strategy and combines them into a conceptual packaging equation: packaging strategy = payload + packaging material.
