Some new results on hermite-hadamard-mercer-type inequalities using a general family of fractional integral operators

open access: yes, 2021
The aim of this article is to obtain new Hermite-Hadamard-Mercer-type inequalities using Raina's fractional integral operators. We present some distinct and novel fractional Hermite-Hadamard-Mercer-type inequalities for the functions whose absolute value

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Lp-solutions for fractional integral equations

open access: yes, 2014
In this article, we examine L (p) -solutions of fractional integral equations in Banach spaces involving the Riemann-Liouville integral operator. Using a compactness type condition, we obtain local and global existence of solutions.

Hardy-Littlewood, Bessel-Riesz, and fractional integral operators in anisotropic Morrey and Campanato spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We analyse Morrey spaces, generalised Morrey spaces and Campanato spaces on homogeneous groups. The boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator, Bessel-Riesz operators, generalised Bessel-Riesz operators and generalised fractional integral ...

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

ON FRACTIONAL VOLTERRA INTEGRODIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH FRACTIONAL INTEGRABLE IMPULSES

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2019
We consider a class of nonlinear fractional Volterra integrodifferential equation with fractional integrable impulses and investigate the existence and uniqueness results in the Bielecki’s normed Banach spaces. Further, Bielecki-Ulam type stabilities have been demonstrated on a compact interval. A concrete example is provided to illustrate the outcomes

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Solving Undamped and Damped Fractional Oscillators via Integral Rohit Transform

open access: yesAl-Mustansiriyah Journal of Science
Background: The dynamics of fractional oscillators are generally described by fractional differential equations, which include the fractional derivative of the Caputo or Riemann-Liouville type.

ON GENERALIZED FRACTIONAL INTEGRALS

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Mathematics, 2001
The author introduces generalized fractional integrals and extends the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev theorem to Orlicz spaces. He also investigates the boundedness of generalized fractional integrals from Orlicz spaces to \(\text{BMO}_\varphi(\mathbb{R}^n)\) and from \(\text{BMO}_\varphi(\mathbb{R}^n)\) to \(\text{BMO}_\psi(\mathbb{R}^n)\), where \(\text ...

Fractional integration and data frequency [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, 2009
This paper examines the robustness of fractional integration estimates to different data frequencies. We show by means of Monte Carlo experiments that if the number of differences is an integer value (e.g. 0 or 1), there is no distortion when data are collected at wider intervals; however, if it is a fractional value, the distortion increases as the ...
