An In Situ Embedded B‐MOF Sponge With Shape‐Memory for All‐in‐One Diabetic Wound Therapy
A smart shape‐memory sponge dressing (P1A3@B‐MOF) is developed for accelerated diabetic wound healing. It achieves pH‐responsive corelease of Zn2+ and salvianolic acid B, synergistically providing antibacterial action, repolarizing macrophages to the M2 phenotype, and promoting angiogenesis.

Surgical menopause and frailty risk in older community dwelling women: the study of osteoporotic fractures [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Low testosterone levels in older women have been shown to be associated with frailty. Whether older postmenopausal women with a history of bilateral oophorectomy before natural menopause resulting in lower testosterone levels (surgical ...

The Impact of Covid-19 on Future Higher-Age Mortality [PDF]
Covid-19 has predominantly affected mortality at high ages. It kills by inflaming and clogging the air sacs in the lungs, depriving the body of oxygen ‒ inducing hypoxia ‒ which closes down essential organs, in particular the heart, kidneys and liver ...

Conductive silk‐polypyrrole scaffolds couple redox stability with cell‐affinitive peptides present innately in an endogenous silk fibroin, enabling optimized electrical stimulation to drive neurite outgrowth. Findings establish electrochemical‐biological link for biomaterial design rules for smart nerve guidance conduits that can provide low voltage ...
