Paternalisme industriel – jedna z odpovedí na sociálnu otázku
The article pays attention to industrial paternalism as one of the models of employer-labour relations that have emerged during the 19th century. It focuses in particular on the French environment, in which industrial paternalism strongly resonated and ...

A DIA‐MS‐based proteomics analysis of serum samples from GB patients and healthy controls showed that high levels of IL1R2 and low levels of CRTAC1 and HRG in serum are associated with poor survival outcomes for GB patients. These circulating proteins could serve as biomarkers for the prediction of outcome in patients with GB.

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Targeting of PTP4A3 overexpression sensitises HGSOC cells towards chemotherapeutic drugs
In HGSOC with normal KRAS expression, high PTP4A3 expression regulates autophagy activation. Conversely, in HGSOC with high KRAS expression, KRAS dictates autophagy control, and PTP4A3 is not required. When high PTP4A3 expression is inhibited, HGSOC cells are preferentially sensitised towards DNA‐damaging agents.

Microglia (BV2) and IL‐4‐treated BMDMs promote astrocytoma clustering and inhibit tumor growth, not shown in other macrophage cells. In vivo, microglial co‐implantation enhances CD8+ T cell infiltration, elevates Granzyme B, lowers circulating MDSCs, and extends survival only in immune‐competent mice, but not in immune‐deficient mice.

Absolute monarchy in France [PDF]
An original scholarly interpretation of the nature of the French monarchy in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. It argues that rather than seeing this monarchy as centralised and administrative, we should see it as a state formation replete with ...

On the existence of admissible supersingular representations of $p$-adic reductive groups
Suppose that $\mathbf{G}$ is a connected reductive group over a finite extension $F/\mathbb{Q}_p$, and that $C$ is a field of characteristic $p$. We prove that the group $\mathbf{G}(F)$ admits an irreducible admissible supercuspidal, or equivalently ...

The K+‐Cl− cotransporters (KCCs) facilitate the symport of ions across the plasma membrane. They participate in physiological processes including neuronal regulation. Here, we characterized KCCs from Drosophila and Hydra vulgaris. Comparative analyses of transporters provide insights into the mechanism of KCC ion transport, regulation, and evolution ...
