Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

Histomoniasis outbreak in free-range chickens in semiarid Paraíba, Brazil

We describe an outbreak of histomoniasis in free-range chickens (Gallus gallus domesticus) in the semiarid region of Paraíba State, Brazil. Juvenile chickens aged approximately 48 days showed disease over a 15-day period.

Phosphine poisoning in free‐range local chickens: a case report

AbstractPhosphine poisoning is rarely reported in poultry, and its diagnosis is a great challenge for veterinary toxicologists and pathologists. A case of phosphine toxicosis in local, free range chickens is reported. Fourteen dead chickens (age ≥6 months old) were presented to the veterinary clinic for necropsy.
