Estimating grape yields in viticulture is hindered by persistent challenges, including strong occlusion between grapes, irregular cluster morphologies, and fluctuating illumination throughout the growing season.

Free convolutions and the Pearcey process in random matrix theory [Elektronisk resurs]
The dissertation is in Random Matrix Theory, a field at the interface of probability theory, mathematical physics and operator algebras. First, we examine elementary questions that arise in Voiculescu’s Free Probability Theory of non-commutative random ...

Supports of Measures in a Free Additive Convolution Semigroup [PDF]
In this paper, we study the supports of measures in the free additive convolution semigroup $\{μ^{\boxplus t}:t>1\}$, where $μ$ is a Borel probability measure on $\mathbb{R}$. We give a formula for the density of the absolutely continuous part of $μ^{\boxplus t}$ and use this formula to obtain certain regularizing properties of $μ^{\boxplus t}$.

Free Convolution and the Random Sum of Matrices
We show that the spectral measure of the sum of two selfadjoint matrices is 'almost surely' given by the free convolution (in the sense of Voiculescu) of the spectral measures of the two matrices if their size tends to infinity.

On Generalized t-Transformation of Free Convolution
A notion of generalized (two-parameterized) t-transformation of free convolution, also called (t=(a,b))-deformed free convolution, is introduced for a∈R and b>0. In this article, some results of t-deformed free convolution are given within the theory of Cauchy-Stieltjes Kernel (CSK) families.

On a surprising relation between rectangular and square free convolutions
A new, more relevant version of this paper exists on the same database, with the name "On a surprising relation between the Marchenko-Pastur law, rectangular and square free convolutions".Debbah and Ryan have recently proved a result about the limit ...

Video Variational Deep Atmospheric Turbulence Correction
This paper presents a novel variational deep-learning approach for video atmospheric turbulence correction. We modify and tailor the Nonlinear Activation Free Network (NAFNet) architecture for video restoration, introducing a new transformer-based ...

Representations of Unitary Groups and Free Convolution
To each finite dimensional representation of a unitary group U ( n ) is associated a probability measure on the set of integers, depending on the highest weights which occur in this representation. We show that asymptotically for large

On the convergence of Denjoy-Wolff points
If $\varphi$ is an analytic function from the unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ to itself, and $\varphi$ is not a conformal automorphism, we denote by $\lambda_{\varphi}$ its Denjoy-Wolff point, that is, the limit of the iterates $\varphi(\varphi(\cdots\varphi(0 ...

A Max-Flow Approach to Random Tensor Networks
The entanglement entropy of a random tensor network (RTN) is studied using tools from free probability theory. Random tensor networks are simple toy models that help in understanding the entanglement behavior of a boundary region in the anti-de Sitter ...
