Conditions ($S_q$) and ($G_q$) on graded rings
Let be a commutative noetherian gradedring. We study Serre's condition and Ischebeck-Auslander's conditionin the graduate case. Let be an integer, we characterize the -torsion freeness of graded modules on a -ring.

Separations of Matroid Freeness Properties
Properties of Boolean functions on the hypercube invariant with respect to linear transformations of the domain are among the most well-studied properties in the context of property testing. In this paper, we study the fundamental class of linear-invariant properties called matroid freeness properties.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Local Freeness of Profinite Groups
In this paper we discuss the relationship between local properties such as freeness and projectivity of a group and the freeness or projectivity of its pro-C-completion. We show that for certain classes, C, of finite groups (e.g.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

TENSOR PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION OF 2-FREENESS
. From a sequence of m-fold tensor product constructions that give a hierarchy of freeness indexed by natural numbers m we examine in detail the first non-trivial case corresponding to m = 2 which we call 2-freeness.

Testing C_k-Freeness in Bounded-Arboricity Graphs [PDF]
We study the problem of testing C_k-freeness (k-cycle-freeness) for fixed constant k > 3 in graphs with bounded arboricity (but unbounded degrees). In particular, we are interested in one-sided error algorithms, so that they must detect a copy of C_k ...

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...
