Difference‐Equation‐Based Digital Frequency Synthesizer [PDF]
This paper presents a novel algorithm and architecture for digital frequency synthesis (DFS). It is based on a simple difference equation. Simulation results show that the proposed DFS algorithm is preferable to the conventional phase‐locked‐loop frequency synthesizer and the direct digital frequency synthesizer in terms of the spurious‐free dynamic ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Approximation of the Wigner Distribution for Dynamical Systems Governed by Differential Equations
A conceptually new approximation method to study the time-frequency properties of dynamical systems characterized by linear ordinary differential equations is presented.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Time frequency property for a micro resonant gas sensor
In this paper, combining dynamics equation of the resonant cantilever with kinetic equation of the adsorption reaction between coatings and the measured gas, a mechanical chemical coupled dynamics equation is proposed. Using the method of multiple scales,

Nonlinear Model of non-Debye Relaxation [PDF]
We present a simple nonlinear relaxation equation which contains the Debye equation as a particular case. The suggested relaxation equation results in power-law decay of fluctuations.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

The frequency-dependent neuronal length constant in transcranial magnetic stimulation
Background: The behavior of the dendritic or axonal membrane voltage due to transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is often modeled with the one-dimensional cable equation.
