Frictional phenomena within a quasi zero stiffness vibration absorber
Quasi Zero Stiffness (QZS) devices have received widespread interest due to their potential applications in vibration isolation and as nonlinear energy sinks. However, as the stiffness is driven towards zero, the response becomes dominated by the effects

Schematic showing a stretchable triboelectric nanogenerator based on interlocked wavy architectures that uses EGaIn microflower‐embedded PVDF‐TrFE and Nylon‐6 nanofiber membranes. The multi‐petaled, electron‐rich EGaIn microflowers enhance interfacial polarization and capacitance, while the interlocked wavy architecture enlarges the effective contact ...

ABSTRACT Current clinical approaches for knee cartilage repair are often limited by hypertrophy and fibrosis in the regenerated tissues. A decellularized tissue‐engineered hyaline cartilage graft (dLhCG), composed of a type II collagen‐based extracellular matrix, has been developed to overcome this limitation.

ON ACTIVE SYNCHROPHASING CONTROL OF VIBRATION FOR A FLOATING RAFT VIBRATION ISOLATION SYSTEM
A floating raft vibration isolation system installed on a flexible hull-like structure is described in this paper. Four vibration exciters, in which two counter rotating shafts with the same balanced masses are driven by a phase asynchronous motor, are ...
