Cauchy′s functional equation in restricted complex domains [PDF]
Using a method modified from that used by Pisot and Schoenberg in 1964‐1965, a Cauchy′s functional equation with restricted domains in the complex field is solved for uniformly continuous solutions.

Some Properties on Complex Functional Difference Equations [PDF]
We obtain some results on the transcendental meromorphic solutions of complex functional difference equations of the form∑λ∈Iαλ(z)(∏j=0nf(z+cj)λj)=R(z,f∘p)=((a0(z)+a1(z)(f∘p)+ ⋯ +as(z) (f∘p)s)/(b0(z)+b1(z)(f∘p)+ ⋯ +bt(z)(f∘p)t)), whereIis a finite set of multi-indexesλ=(λ0,λ1,…,λn),c0=0,cj∈ℂ∖{0} (j=1,2,…,n)are distinct complex constants,p(z)is a ...

On a functional equation for the exponential function of a complex variable [PDF]
The following result is well known in the theory of analytic functions; see [1].Theorem A. Suppose that f(z) is an entire function of a complex variable z. Then f(z) satisfies the functional equationwhere z = x + iy (x, y real), if and only if f(z) = aexp(sz), where a is an arbitrary complex constant and s is an arbitrary real constant.

Nonlinear Pantograph-Type Diffusion PDEs: Exact Solutions and the Principle of Analogy
We study nonlinear pantograph-type reaction–diffusion PDEs, which, in addition to the unknown u=u(x,t), also contain the same functions with dilated or contracted arguments of the form w=u(px,t), w=u(x,qt), and w=u(px,qt), where p and q are the free ...

A new functional equation of Pexider type related to the complex exponential function [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to solve a new functional equation, characteristic for the complex exponential function, which contains four unknown entire functions and to solve, as an application, three further functional equations.
