On q-double modified Laplace transform [PDF]
The Laplace transform is widely used in science and technology to deal with complex problemsin stability and control systems. The modified Laplace transform has been applied in physics andmathematics to solve boundary layer equations in ordinary ...

We study the hydrodynamic limits of three kinds of one-dimensional stochastic log-gases known as Dyson's Brownian motion model, its chiral version, and the Bru-Wishart process studied in dynamical random matrix theory. We define the measure-valued processes so that their Cauchy transforms solve the complex Burgers-type equations.

The transition to Industry 4.0 highlights areas of research that require a qualitative description of a complex system, for example, a cyber-physical one, in the form of an adaptive dynamic model since the systems themselves are subject to change over ...

Bounds for the functional spectrum of operators in a Hilbert space [PDF]
Let H1 and H2 be Hilbert spaces with the unit operators I1 and I2, respectively, and Ajk be bounded operators acting from Hj into Hk (j, k = 1, 2). We consider the block operator matrices A = (Ajk) and F(z) = diag (Kˆj (z)Ij ), where Kˆ1(z) and Kˆ2(z ...

Wigner distribution functions for complex dynamical systems: The emergence of the Wigner-Boltzmann equation [PDF]
The equation of motion for the reduced Wigner function of a system coupled to an external quantum system is presented for the specific case when the external quantum system can be modeled as a set of harmonic oscillators. The result is derived from the Wigner function formulation of the Feynman-Vernon influence functional theory.

Estimation of Suspended Sediment Load Using Integrated Intelligent Methods with Considering Model Uncertainty [PDF]
Introduction: Sediment transportation and accurate estimation of its rate is a significant issue for river engineers and researchers. So far, various and complex relationships have been proposed to predict the amount of suspended sediment transport rate,

Treatment of Complex Interfaces for Maxwell’s Equations with Continuous Coefficients Using the Correction Function Method [PDF]
We propose a high-order FDTD scheme based on the correction function method (CFM) to treat interfaces with complex geometry without increasing the complexity of the numerical approach for constant coefficients. Correction functions are modeled by a system of PDEs based on Maxwell's equations with interface conditions.
