Unconventional analogs of single-parametric method of iterational aggregation
When we solve practical problems that arise, for example, in mathematical economics, in the theory of Markov processes, it is often necessary to use the decomposition of operator equations using methods of iterative aggregation.

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Maximal functions for groups of operators. [PDF]
Let Δ be the Laplace operator on d and 1 < δ < 2. Using transference methods we show that, for max {q, q/(q – 1)} < 4d/(2d + 1 – δ), the maximal function for the Schrödinger group is in Lq, for f Lq with Δδ/2 f Lq. We obtain a similar result for the Airy

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Cross-Coupled Charge Pump Synthesis Based on Full Transistor-Level
This paper presents utility for the design of the cross-coupled charge pump, which is used for supplying peripherals with low current consumption on the chip, as the EEPROM or FLASH memories.

Drosophila park mutants serve as a model for Parkinson's disease. We used this strain to investigate the connection between oxidative stress and the circadian clock mechanism. We showed that increased oxidative stress affects the physiology of pacemaker cells, disrupting their daily structural plasticity. Lack of rhythmic signaling from pacemaker cells

Symbolic Analysis for Boundary Problems: From Rewriting to Parametrized Groebner Bases [PDF]
We review our algebraic framework for linear boundary problems (concentrating on ordinary differential equations). Its starting point is an appropriate algebraization of the domain of functions, which we have named integro-differential algebras.

Parter, Periodic and Coperiodic Functions on Groups and their Characterization
Decomposer functional equations were introduced by the author and have been completely solved on arbitrary groups. Their solutions are as decomposer functions and play important role regarding to decomposition (factorization) of groups by their two ...

α‐Synuclein aggregation landscape from phase separation to neurotoxic intermediates
Alpha‐synuclein aggregation in Parkinson's disease involves a complex landscape of transient intermediates, including oligomers, fibrils and liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). A view is emerging in which LLPS maturation into solid‐like condensates may contribute to the formation of neurotoxic species.
