DETERMINACIÓN DE PRECURSORES DE DIOXINAS Y FURANOS DE LOS GASES PROCEDENTES DE UN INCINERADOR EN UN REACTOR FOTOCATALÍTICO

open access: yesRevista EIA
Se presenta un método cromatográfico para la determinación de dioxinas y furanos a partir de uno de sus precursores, tanto en estándares de medición como en muestras reales de gases tomadas en una empresa incineradora de Itagüí, Colombia.

The effect of pH on the formation of volatile compounds produced by heating a model system containing 5?-Imp and cysteine

open access: yesJournal of the Brazilian Chemical Society, 1998
The identification of volatile compounds formed from the reactions of Inosine-5?-Monophosphate (5?-IMP) with Cysteine at three different pH (3.0; 4.5; 6.0) and 140 °C were performed using dynamic headspace analysis.

FURAN DICARBOXYLATE COPOLYESTERS

open access: yes, 2017
Disclosed are copolyesters based on a furan dicarboxylic component (in the form of a carboxylic acid or an ester forming derivative thereof) and a lower alkyl diol component. The furan dicarboxylic component is a mixture of a 2,5-furan dicarboxylic component and a 2,4-furan dicarboxylic component. The mixture is such as to have a molar ratio of the 2,5-

Determination of furan and furan derivatives in baby food

Food Chemistry, 2018
A Headspace-Solid Phase Microextraction-Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS) method was developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of furan, 2-methylfuran, 2-ethylfuran, 2-butylfuran, 2-pentylfuran, 2-acetylfuran, furfural and furfuryl alcohol in jarred baby food. The method was specific for the analytes.

Furans in foods

C R C Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, 1979
Furan represent a class of compounds that have been reported in a wide variety of foods. Normally, they result from thermal decomposition reactions, and, as such, are important in foods. They also possess unique sensory properties and, thus, can significantly contribute to food flavor.

Furans

2014
International audience ; Polymer networks derived from furan monomers are discussed, with particular emphasis on recent contributions. Resins based on furfural and furfuryl alcohol represent the most important family within this context, but other materials are becoming relevant, such as polyurethane foams, various photo-curable macromolecules bearing ...
