ABSTRACT We report on the synthesis and characterization of 3‐(2‐(2‐azidoethoxy)ethoxy)‐4‐nitro‐1,2,5‐oxadiazole (NFPEG2N3), which is a liquid nitrofurazanyl ether that was designed to be an energy‐rich plasticizer for glycidyl azide polymer (GAP)‐ and nitrocellulose (NC)‐based formulations.

Bipolar Hydrogen Production by Hybrid Water Electrolysis
This review focuses on the recent advances in uniqueness bipolar H2 production from the oxidation of representative small molecules, including 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural, formaldehyde, alcohols, and N‐heterocycle amides. The target electrocatalysts and the underlying mechanisms are discussed in respect to specific substrate oxidation.

The well‐known insensitive high explosive, 1,3,5‐triamino‐2,4,6‐trinitrobenzene (TATB), decomposes in abnormal environments, such as heat and impact, to produce, in part, 4,6‐diamino‐5,7‐dinitro‐benzo‐furazan (F1). This reaction has been documented for almost 50 years, but the structure of F1 has remained elusive.

Waste to Wealth: Electrochemical Innovations in Hydrogen Production From Industrial Wastewater
There is increasing worry regarding the environmental impact of waste from hospital sewage, agricultural runoff, and industrial wastewater. Those wastes can contaminate water ecosystems, harming both human health and aquatic life. By employing an electrochemical method, we can treat these toxic substances in wastewater while simultaneously producing ...

The review focuses on relationships of oxadiazole derivative structures and their antimycobacterial activity including target structures in mycobacteria, in vitro or in vivo pharmacokinetic parameters, and toxicity. Apart from direct antimycobacterial activity, some 1,2,4‐oxadiazole derivatives can potentiate the antimycobacterial effect of ethionamide

Formations and Reactions of Aromatic Furazan Compounds.
A reaction from various kinds of nitroquinoline with hydroxylamine in potassium hydroxide alkalinity produced a novel product, furazanoquinoline, besides the known amino derivatives. The products obtained were furazano [3,4-f] quinoline (5) from 5-nitroquinoline (1) and 6-nitroquinoline (6), and furazano [3,4-h] quinoline (10) from 7-nitroquinoline (8)

Pyrrolation of Melem: A Facile Gateway into the Field of Monomeric s‐Heptazine Chemistry
A facile synthetic route for the synthesis of monomeric s‐heptazines is presented. The central compound of this new approach is 2,5,8‐tri(1H‐pyrrol‐1‐yl)‐s‐heptazine that was synthesized via an acid catalyzed pyrrolation of melem with 2,5‐dimethoxytetrahydrofuran, which proved to be a potent starting material for the synthesis of further monomeric s ...
