Fuzzy Measures: Collectors of Entropies

2007
In the fuzzy setting we define a collector of entropies, which allows us to consider the reliability of observers. This leads to a system of functional equations. We are able to find the general solution of the system for collectors, which are compatible with a law of the kind "Inf" in [2]. Finally we give a class of solutions for a collector for which

SYNTHESIS WITH RESPECT TO FUZZY ENTROPY

Kybernetes, 1983
Summary—A synthesis process of a multiple description is defined on a lattice of fuzzy sets which differs from the usual one. Connections between these lattices are stated. Mathematical definitions are correlated with concepts of decision and system theory.

On the Entropy of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Events

International Conference on Computational Intelligence for Modelling, Control and Automation and International Conference on Intelligent Agents, Web Technologies and Internet Commerce (CIMCA-IAWTIC'06), 2006
This paper introduces the notion of entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy events. Based on the concept of probability of events in the intuitionistic fuzzy setting, we propose different entropy definitions. These entropies constitute a generalization of the corresponding definitions for fuzzy events.

On sequential entropy of fuzzy systems

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2018
Shannon entropy is an important tool in the study of information theory. A new fuzzy entropy was introduced by Dumitrescu [ 5 , 6 ] in the context of fuzzy sets or messages.

A New Fuzzy Entropy for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

Fourth International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD 2007), 2007
Fuzzy entropy is an important concept of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). In this paper, the resources of the entropy of an intuitionistic fuzzy set are analyzed. It is pointed out that the fuzzy entropy of an IFS comes from uncertainty and unknown information.

Fuzzy orthopartitions and their logical entropy. [PDF]

open access: possible, 2021
In this paper, we present special families of intuitionistic fuzzy sets called fuzzy orthopartitions, which are generalizations of standard fuzzy partitions useful to model situations where both vagueness and uncertainty are involved. Moreover, we define and explain how to compute the lower and upper entropy, which measure the quantity of information ...

Entropy for fuzzy regression analysis

International Journal of Systems Science, 2005
Prediction by regression plays an important role in intelligent systems. To construct a regression model for fuzzy numbers, this paper decomposes a fuzzy number into two parts: the position and fuzziness. The former is represented by the elements with membership value 1 and the latter by the entropy of the fuzzy number; both have crisp values.
