Construction of Fuzzy Classes by Fuzzy Partitioning
2001In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to infer automatically a fuzzy partition for the universe of a set of fuzzy values, when each of these values is associated with a class. This algorithm can be used in a fuzzy decision tree system to extract knowledge from a database and to construct a set of fuzzy rules.

Applying I-Fuzzy Partitions to Represent Sets of Fuzzy Partitions
2010I-fuzzy partitions have been defined to represent uncertainty on the clustering process. They are based on interval type-2 fuzzy sets, also known as Atanassov's intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

Modelling fuzzy partitions with fuzzy answer sets
2017 IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence (SSCI), 2017This paper introduces a representation of fuzzy partitions in terms of fuzzy logic programming. This representation models relationships among the different classes that define the fuzzy partition. There are essentially two such relationships. The first one is that classes are disjoint and, therefore, contradictory each other; on the other hand, the ...

Spaces with fuzzy partitions and fuzzy transform
Soft Computing, 2017\par The paper considers a categorical approach to the setting of \(F\)-transforms of \textit{I. In this chapter, we propose two new algorithms to infer automatically a fuzzy partition for the universe of a set of values, when each of these values is associated with a class. These algorithms are based on the use of mathematical morphology operators that are used to filter the given set of values and highlight kernel for fuzzy subsets.

Relational partitioning of fuzzy rules
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1996Abstract We discuss the process of fuzzy systems model building and describe the role played by the partitioning of the input space. We also introduce and investigate the idea of using fuzzy relations in the antecedent parts of the rules and show how to reason with these types of rules.
