Self‐Powered Flexible Triboelectric‐Gated Ion‐Gel Transistor for Neuromorphic Tactile Sensing and Human Activity Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

Applications of fuzzy sets to rule-based expert system development [PDF]

open access: yes
Problems of implementing rule-based expert systems using fuzzy sets are considered. A fuzzy logic software development shell is used that allows inclusion of both crisp and fuzzy rules in decision making and process control problems.

Zero overshoot and fast transient response using a fuzzy logic controller [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In some industrial process control systems it is desirable not to allow an overshoot beyond the setpoint or a threshold, this could be a safety constraint or the requirement of the system.

Assembling a True “Olympic Gel” From over 16 000 Combinatorial DNA Rings

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Olympic gels are an elusive class of soft matter, consisting of molecular networks held together purely by mechanically interlocked rings. Their topological structure promises unique properties and functions, but their synthesis has proven notoriously difficult.

Fuzzy ART Choice Functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
Adaptive Resonance Theory (ART) models are real-time neural networks for category learning, pattern recognition, and prediction. Unsupervised fuzzy ART and supervised fuzzy ARTMAP networks synthesize fuzzy logic and ART by exploiting the formal ...

Transparent Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes with Conductive Oxide Top Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transparent perovskite light‐emitting diodes (TrPeLEDs) enable simultaneous display and transparency, expanding application possibilities. Using a metal oxide buffer layer and pulsed laser deposition, TrPeLEDs with diverse compositions and architectures are demonstrated.

Introduction to Fuzzy Systems

open access: yes, 2017
The following chapter describes the basic concepts of fuzzy systems and approximate reasoning. The study focuses mainly on fuzzy models based on Zadeh’s compositional rule of inference. The presentation begins with an introduction of fundamental ideas of fuzzy conditional (if-then) rules.

Conductive Hydrogels for Exogenous Sensing and Cell Fate Control

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We engineer electrically conductive hydrogels by combining sulfated glycosaminoglycans with semiconducting polymers. These hydrogels bind bioactive proteins, including growth factors, whose release or retention can be modulated by low‐voltage stimulation. The hydrogels are also integrated as 3D channels in organic electrochemical transistors as part of

Design and implementation of fuzzy logic controllers [PDF]

open access: yes
The main objectives of our research are to present a self-contained overview of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic, develop a methodology for control system design using fuzzy logic controllers, and to design and implement a fuzzy logic controller for a real ...
