Alarm‐Based Hybrid Fault‐Tolerant Control Approach for Uncertain Markovian Jump System With Actuator Constraints and Suddenly Occurring Structural Failures

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 1, January 2026.
The architecture of the closed‐loop Markovian jump systems. ABSTRACT This paper addresses the issue of alarm‐based hybrid fault‐tolerant control for Markovian jump systems with uncertainty, in which there may exist actuator and structural failures. Through the integration of passive, observer‐based active, and adaptive fault‐tolerant control techniques,

Experimentation, Simulation & Analysis of Partial Shading Effect in Solar Modules

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 1, Page 4-15, January 2026.
The Master module placed in a non‐shaded and camera view cleaning position, compensates for the loss in power due to partial shading of the slaves, improving the GMP. The enhanced PV voltage across the partially shaded arrangement reduces reverse bias conditions and thermal stress.

Influence of RF Power on Structural and Corrosion Properties of Sputter‐Deposited CrN Films

open access: yesMicroscopy Research and Technique, Volume 89, Issue 1, Page 120-133, January 2026.
Three‐dimensional AFM images of CrN/304SS films synthesized at varying RF power levels. Height distribution and the curves of the bearing area of CrN/304SS films synthesized at varying RF power levels. ABSTRACT This study examines the deposition of chromium nitride (CrN) films on 304 stainless steel (304SS) substrates using radio‐frequency (RF ...

Solvent‐Mediated Self‐Assembly and Hydrogen Bonding in Neutral Alginate: A Molecular Dynamics Study

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 1, January 2026.
Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations reveal how hydration controls hydrogen bonding, aggregation, and porosity in neutral alginate. Water acts as an active mediator of supramolecular self‐assembly, transforming compact polymer bundles into porous nanostructures.

Beyond mechanics: Maximum‐likelihood‐driven PET detector alignment calibration

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 53, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Background Accurate quantification is a cornerstone of positron‐emission tomography (PET), yet mechanical inaccuracies during detector assembly continue to undermine this goal. Deviations from intended design geometries arise due to factors such as manufacturing tolerances, mechanical stress, and cumulative errors during module installation ...
