Replication of bacteriophage G13 DNA in dna mutants of Escherichia coli

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Nucleic Acids and Protein Synthesis, 1978
Host functions required for replication of microvirid phage G13 DNA were investigated in vivo, using thermosensitive dna mutants of Escherichia coli. In dna+ bacteria, conversion of viral single-stranded DNA into double-stranded replicative form (stage I synthesis) was resistant to 150 microgram/ml of chloramphenicol or 200 microgram/ml of rifampicin ...

Registration of G13‐6299 Soybean Germplasm Line with Diverse Pedigree

Journal of Plant Registrations, 2018
The soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] germplasm line G13‐6299 (Reg. No. GP‐415, PI 682087) was developed and released by the University of Georgia (UGA) Agricultural Experiment Stations. G13‐6299 is an F5–derived plant selection from G00‐3213 × LG04‐6000. G13‐6299 is a conventional maturity group (MG) VII line containing 19% exotic germplasm by pedigree.

The G protein G13 mediates inhibition of voltage-dependent calcium current by bradykinin

Neuron, 1994
In neuroblastoma-glioma hybrid cells, bradykinin has dual modulatory effects on ion channels: it activates a K+ current as well as inhibits the voltage-dependent Ca2+ current (ICa,V). Both of these actions are mediated by pertussis toxin-insensitive G proteins. Antibodies raised against the homologous Gq and G11 proteins suppress only the activation of

Interaction between phage G13 and its oligosaccharide receptor studied by equilibrium dialysis

Journal of Molecular Recognition, 1989
AbstractThe reversible binding of phage G13, a ϕX174‐like single‐strand DNA phage, to a 3H‐labeled nonasaccharide from the lipopolysaccharide of its natural host Esacherichia coli C was studied with equilibrium dialysis. The binding constant (Ka) was determined to 1.3 × 107 M−1 in Scatchard and Lineweaver–Burk plots.
