Safety evaluation of Mucor rouxii CFR-G15 biomass containing ω-6 fatty acids in rats
Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology, 2012Mucor rouxii CFR-G15 is an oleaginous zygomycetous fungus. The mycelia of the fungus accumulate 35.0±0.8% total lipid of which, 18.55±0.46% is gamma linolenic acid. Acute and subchronic studies were conducted by feeding rats with dry biomass of M. rouxii CFR-G15 to assess the safety of the oils in the fungal mycelium.

Model Antenna Rotator and Tilt Correction Using BeagleBone and G15 Cube Servo
2019For a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellite, we can only observe a momentary Field of View (FOV), meaning, the satellite can only communicate with a minor slice of the earth at a time. This necessitates a network, (or ‘constellation’) of satellites, to provide full coverage. Further, satellites in the lower regions of LEO also have a very fast orbital decay,

Regulation of cervical cancer via G15-mediated inhibition of G protein-coupled estrogen receptor
Anti-Cancer DrugsCervical cancer is among the most common gynecological malignancies. G protein-coupled estrogen receptor (GPER) is involved in the development of various tumors; however, its role in cervical cancer remains unclear. We investigated whether G15, an inhibitor of GPER, can regulate its expression and affect cervical cancer progression.

Biosorption of Copper (II) from Aqueous Solutions by Sclerotiogenic Aspergillus oryzae G15.
Water environment research : a research publication of the Water Environment Federation, 2017This study aimed at investigating the biosorption of copper(II) from aqueous solutions by sclerotiogenic Aspergillus oryzae G15. Potentiometric titration analysis results indicated that carboxyl group was mainly responsible for Cu(II) adsorption. Sclerotia were a better biosorbent than mycelia, which could be ascribed to the higher amount of carboxyl

The C•Si•O•Si (•C) Four-Member Ring and the Si-G15 Centre
1996Based on geometry optimisation molecular cluster calculations employing the MINDO/3 method, we have concluded that the interstitial-carbon interstitial-oxygen complex in silicon has a C•Si•O•Si (•C) four-member ring structure as the most stable state. Our conclusion is similar to that of Jones and Oberg who carried out a LDF (local density functional ...
