Constraints on stellar parameters of the SPB star HD182255 from complex asteroseismology
Seismic modeling of the Slowly Pulsating B-type star HD182255 yields strong constraints on the radial orders of the two dominant modes. For these frequencies, we derive also the empirical values of the complex nonadiabatic parameter $f$.

Motivated by recent measurements of the number density of faint AGN at high redshift, we investigate the contribution of quasars to reionization by tracking the growth of central supermassive black holes in an update of the Meraxes semi-analytic model ...

The determinants of securities trading activity: evidence from four European equity markets [PDF]
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to obtain new empirical evidence about the connections between equity trading activity and five possible liquidity determinants: market capitalisation, dividend yield, earnings yield, company growth and the ...

Galaxy And Mass Assembly (GAMA): end of survey report and data release 2 [PDF]
The Galaxy And Mass Assembly (GAMA) survey is one of the largest contemporary spectroscopic surveys of low redshift galaxies. Covering an area of ˜286 deg2 (split among five survey regions) down to a limiting magnitude of r < 19.8 mag, we have collected ...

Observing the very low-surface brightness dwarfs in a deep field in the VIRGO cluster: constraints on Dark Matter scenarios [PDF]
We report the discovery of 11 very faint (r< 23), low surface brightness ({\mu}_r< 27 mag/arcsec^2) dwarf galaxies in one deep field in the Virgo cluster, obtained by the prime focus cameras (LBC) at the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT).

ABSTRACT This article adds a geoeconomics dimension to the geopolitics‐focused middle power literature that generally depicts Malaysia as an ambivalent middle power, especially from the identity and behavioral perspectives, even if the country's middle power status stands on stronger capability indicators.

Automorphisms of Real 4 Dimensional Lie Algebras and the Invariant Characterization of Homogeneous 4-Spaces [PDF]
The automorphisms of all 4-dimensional, real Lie Algebras are presented in a comprehensive way. Their action on the space of $4\times 4$, real, symmetric and positive definite, matrices, defines equivalence classes which are used for the invariant ...
