The temporary transition of macrophages from a pro‐inflammatory phenotype of macrophages (M1) to an anti‐inflammatory phenotype of macrophages (M2) is crucial for tissue repair and regeneration processes. Bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) are utilized as a “trojan horse” for specific M1 macrophage‐targeting and anti‐inflammatory drug delivery ...

Homogeneous G2 and Sasakian instantons on the Stiefel 7-manifold [PDF]
We study homogeneous instantons on the seven dimensional Stiefel manifold V in the context of G2 and Sasakian geometry. According to the reductive decomposition of V we provide an explicit description of all invariant G2 and Sasakian structures. In particular, we characterise the invariant G2- structures inducing a Sasakian metric, among which the well

“Writing” Crystal Phases in Amorphous Calcium Carbonate via Laser‐Induced Patterned Transformations
Laser‐induced crystallization enabling the patterning of amorphous calcium carbonate into various distinct phases is introduced. This approach provides spatial control over polymorph selection, both crystalline and amorphous, inspired by biomineralization pathways.

A hydrogel for intra‐articular injection for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is formulated and comprehensively studied. After administration, the hydrogel induces a metabolic reprogramming of immunometabolism of macrophages to trigger fatty acid oxidation subsequently inducing polarization of anti‐inflammatory M2 macrophages. This results in
