Colliding filaments in the molecular cloud G34
The molecular cloud complex G34 is located at a distance of 2.12 ± 0.38 kpc and contains two giant filaments, F1 and F2. It is considered a good example of colliding filaments. We mapped these two filaments using the 13CO and 12CO (J = 1−0) lines that were observed with the 13.7 m millimeter-wavelength telescope of the Purple Mountain Observatory.

Histone H3.3 G34 Mutations Alter Histone H3K36 and H3K27 Methylation In Cis [PDF]
Histone H3 encoding genes, particularly H3F3A and H3F3B, the genes encoding the variant histone H3.3, are mutated at high frequency in pediatric brain and bone malignancies. Compared to the extensive studies on K27M and K36M mutations, little is known about the mechanism of G34 mutations found in pediatric glioblastoma or giant cell tumors of the bone.

Diffuse hemispheric glioma H3 G34-mutant (DHG) has been identified as a distinct pediatric-type high-grade glioma, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) classification of central nervous system tumors. Widely accepted treatment options include surgery, radiation, and conventional chemotherapy.

Integrated high-resolution copy number and histomolecular analysis of diffuse hemispheric glioma, H3 G34-mutant reveals universal TP53 abnormalities. [PDF]
This integrated high‐resolution copy number and histomolecular analysis of diffuse hemispheric glioma, H3 G34‐mutant expands the spectrum of associated genetic changes and underscores the presence of universal TP53 abnormalities at copy number, sequence, and protein expression level, with frequent yet largely unrecognized TP53 copy‐neutral loss of ...

MPC-5 Characteristics of H3 G34-mutant gliomas [PDF]
Abstract Introduction: Diffuse hemispheric gliomas, H3 G34-mutant (DHG H3G34-mutant) are newly recognized infiltrating gliomas of the cerebral hemispheres of pediatric and young adult patients. We experienced 6 DHG H3G34-mutant cases. In this study, we describe the clinical, radiological and pathological characteristics of these cases.
