Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...

Peptide‐based ligand antagonists block a Vibrio cholerae adhesin
The structure of a peptide‐binding domain of the Vibrio cholerae adhesin FrhA was solved by X‐ray crystallography, revealing how the inhibitory peptide AGYTD binds tightly at its Ca2+‐coordinated pocket. Structure‐guided design incorporating D‐amino acids enhanced binding affinity, providing a foundation for developing anti‐adhesion therapeutics ...

Genotype by heat conditions interaction effects on growth and litter traits in rabbits
Heat stress has severe impacts on rabbit performance because they have difficulty getting rid of excess heat. The interaction between genetic and environmental factors plays a vital role in the adaptation process.

A Review of Parametric and AMMI Models for Genotype x Environment (G x E) Interaction in Mulberry
Mulberry (Morus spp.) is a key perennial crop cultivated primarily for its leaves, which serve as the sole food for silkworms. The productivity of mulberry varies widely across different agro-climatic environments due to Genotype x Environment (G x E) interactions, posing a challenge for stable varietal development.

This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

Anomalous behavior of the Debye temperature in Fe-rich Fe-Cr alloys
Debye temperature, $\Theta_D$, of Fe-rich Fe$_{100-x}$Cr$_x$ disordered alloys with $0\le x \le 22.3$ was determined from the temperature dependence of the central shift of M\"ossbauer spectra recorded in the temperature range of 60 -- 300 K.
