Facial Nerve Enhancement on Gadolinium-DTPA in a Case with Neurosarcoidosis.
In a case of neurosarcoidosis with bilateral facial nerve palsy and hydrocephalus, contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) study and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) activities in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) were valuable for the diagnosis and the follow up. Facial nerve lesions were demonstrated on gadolinium-DTPA enhanced MRI.

Engineered Biopolymer Architectures for Selective Metal Ions Extraction
This review establishes a mechanism‐oriented framework that connects biopolymer chemistry, structural engineering, ligand design, and hydrometallurgical process variables for selective metal‐ion extraction. It analyzes how functional groups, hierarchical architectures, and solution speciation govern adsorption capacity and selectivity in acidic ...

False-positive magnetic resonance image in the diagnosis of small acoustic neuroma [PDF]
A patient presented with sudden hearing loss on her Žrst visit to our department. Gadolinium-DTPA-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the posterior cranial fossa portrayed an intracanalicular tumour image (2–3 mm), and the pure tone average (PTA)

ABSTRACT Purpose To investigate contrast‐enhanced T1‐weighted MRI and diffusion‐weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI) for early prediction of tumor response to combined irreversible electroporation (IRE) and anti‐PD‐1 immunotherapy. Methods Murine pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cells KRAS* were inoculated into the pancreas of C57BL/6 mice.

ABSTRACT Gadolinium in the form of complex compounds is used as a contrast agent in medicine diagnostic for magnetic resonance imaging. Gadolinium‐based contrast agents are divided into linear and macrocyclic substances in ionic or nonionic forms. Gd3+ toxic ions can be replaced from these compounds by cations such as Fe3+ and Cu2+. Gadolinium inhibits
