Graph Combinatorial Optimization Problems for Blockchain Transaction Network Analysis

open access: yesMathematics
Open data makes it possible to gain insights into the transaction patterns of blockchain projects. These patterns can be modeled as transaction networks, which support a wide range of analytical techniques.

Query-Focused Personalized Citation Recommendation With Mutually Reinforced Ranking

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Many state-of-the-art citation recommendation methods have been proposed for finding a list of reference papers for a given manuscript, among which the graph-based method has gained particular attention, due to its flexibility for incorporating various ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

The \(\mathscr{G}\)-average of adjacency and Laplacian polynomials of a graph

open access: yesThe American Journal of Combinatorics
Let \(\mathscr{G}\) be a finite multiplicative group of quaternion unit \(U(\mathbb{H})\). The \(\mathscr{G}\)-average of adjacency (resp., Laplacian) polynomial of a graph \(G\) is defined as the arithmetic mean of the characteristic polynomials of

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

PDASTSGAT: An STSGAT-Based Multipath Data Scheduling Algorithm

open access: yesAlgorithms
How to select the transmitting path in MPTCP scheduling is an important but open problem. This paper proposes an intelligent data scheduling algorithm using spatiotemporal synchronous graph attention neural networks to improve MPTCP scheduling.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Spectral Properties of Dual Unit Gain Graphs

open access: yesSymmetry
In this paper, we study dual quaternion, dual complex unit gain graphs, and their spectral properties in a unified frame of dual unit gain graphs. Unit dual quaternions represent rigid movements in the 3D space, and have wide applications in robotics and computer graphics. Dual complex numbers have found application in brain science recently.

Relationships between cycle spaces, gain graphs, graph coverings, fundamental groups, path homology, and graph curvature

open access: yes, 2017
We prove a homology vanishing theorem for graphs with positive Bakry- mery curvature, analogous to a classic result of Bochner on manifolds \cite{Bochner}. Specifically, we prove that if a graph has positive curvature at every vertex, then its first homology group is trivial, where the notion of homology that we use for graphs is the path homology ...
