Interventions to Reduce Loneliness in Informal Caregivers of People With Dementia: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Nursing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim To summarize the current evidence on reducing loneliness among informal caregivers of people with dementia, such as family members or friends. Design A systematic review. Methods The methodological quality was evaluated using the revised Cochrane risk‐of‐bias tool for randomized controlled trials and the revised JBI critical appraisal ...

DiffstarPop: A generative physical model of galaxy star formation history

open access: yesThe Open Journal of Astrophysics
We present DiffstarPop, a differentiable forward model of cosmological populations of galaxy star formation histories (SFH). In the model, individual galaxy SFH is parametrized by Diffstar, which has parameters $θ_{\rm SFH}$ that have a direct ...

Noble gases and nitrogen in material from asteroid Bennu

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract We report the elemental and isotopic abundances of all stable noble gases (helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon) in eight particles from asteroid Bennu returned by NASA's OSIRIS‐REx mission. We also report nitrogen abundances and isotopic ratios that were analyzed alongside neon and argon in four additional Bennu particles.

Raman analysis of organic refractory materials after energetic processing: Evidence for amorphous carbon on TNOs and comets

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Amorphous carbon (αC) is found in various extraterrestrial particles, including those thought to originate from the outer Solar System. αC can form through two main processes involving C‐rich materials: exposure to energetic charged particles and thermal processing.

Causal Reversal in the M•–σ0 Relation: Implications for High-redshift Supermassive Black Hole Mass Estimates

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The nascent methodology of applying the principles of causal discovery to astrophysical data has produced affirming results about deeply held theories concerning the causal nature behind the observed coevolution of supermassive black holes (SMBHs) with ...

Nanoscale space weathering features in mature lunar soil revealed by TEM and APT

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Space weathering significantly alters the optical, chemical, and structural properties of lunar regolith at micro‐ and nanoscales; yet detailed nanoscale variability within individual soils remains underexplored. Here we apply transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atom probe tomography to four mineral grains (olivine, ilmenite, and two ...

The Impact of Void-finding Algorithms on Galaxy Classification

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We explore how the definition of a void influences the conclusions drawn about the impact of the void environment on galactic properties using two void-finding algorithms in the Void Analysis Software Toolkit: Voronoi Voids ( V ^2 ), a Python ...

Nature's Complexity Alive: Farewell to Several Unificatory Cosmological Arguments for Monism

open access: yesNoûs, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Throughout history, numerous thinkers have claimed that monism—in the form of priority monism, existence monism, monotheistic monism, or versions that posit an extra‐cosmic ultimate being—theoretically surpasses pluralism, above all by positing a unified universe.

Where giants dwell: Probing the environments of early massive quiescent galaxies

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics
We investigated the environments of massive quiescent galaxies at 3 ≲ z ≲ 5 using the GAlaxy Evolution and Assembly (GAEA) theoretical model. We selected galaxies with stellar mass above 1010.8 M⊙ and specific star formation rates below 0.3 × t−1 ...

The SVP–FRO6 Module Integrates the Control of Leaf Senescence and Flowering in Arabidopsis

open access: yesPlant, Cell &Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Plants coordinate major developmental transitions by integrating intrinsic genetic programs with environmental signals, where nutrient availability serves as a critical external factor shaping growth and fitness. Iron (Fe), an essential micronutrient for cellular respiration and photosynthesis, is strictly regulated through sophisticated ...
