Intrahepatic Gallbladder

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Case Reports in Internal Medicine, 2019
Gallbladders have been reported in various ectopic locations. An intrahepatic gallbladder is one where the gallbladder lies within the liver parenchyma or has a subcapsular location along the anterior inferior right lobe of the liver. Intrahepatic gallbladders can have impaired function leading to the formation of gallbladder stones.

Regulation of Human Adipose Tissue Activation, Gallbladder Size, and Bile Acid Metabolism by a β3-Adrenergic Receptor Agonist

open access: yesDiabetes, 2018
β3-adrenergic receptor (AR) agonists are approved to treat only overactive bladder. However, rodent studies suggest that these drugs could have other beneficial effects on human metabolism. We performed tissue receptor profiling and showed that the human

IGF2BP3 drives gallbladder cancer progression by m6A-modified CLDN4 and inducing macrophage immunosuppressive polarization

open access: yesTranslational Oncology, 2023
Introduction: N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is an emerging epigenetic modification, which plays a crucial role in the development of cancer. Nevertheless, the underlying mechanism of m6A-associated proteins and m6A modification in gallbladder cancer remains ...
