All‐Solution‐Processed Perovskite Light‐Emitting Transistors Enabled by a Fully Organic Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Fully solution‐processed light‐emitting transistors based on CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals (Pe‐LETs) are demonstrated using an all‐organic platform. By optimizing film formation and device integration, the Pe‐LETs achieve bright green emission with excellent color purity and a peak external quantum efficiency of 4.17 × 10−3 %, marking a step forward ...

Current screens

open access: yes, 2011
The architecture of screen design, including LCD, LED and DLP projection, is analysed in terms of the political economy and their aesthetics and phenomenological impacts, in association with the use of codecs as constraining as well as enabling tools in ...

Changes in Alcohol Retail Laws and Foot Traffic at Liquor Stores

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We study how expanding alcohol availability at grocery and convenience stores affects consumer traffic in liquor stores by leveraging recent changes in state‐level alcohol distribution laws in a difference‐in‐difference quasi‐experimental design.

Do we understand children's restlessness? Constructing ecologically valid understandings through reflexive cooperation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health & Well-Being, 2015
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most widely used children's mental health diagnosis today, but the validity of the diagnosis is controversial, for instance, because it might conceal relational and ecological dimensions of ...

Advancing Tribal Court Criminal Jurisdiction In Alaska [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Extensive case law already exists in Alaska on the jurisdiction of tribal courts over domestic relations cases, with one of the seminal cases—John v. Baker—establishing that Alaska tribes have jurisdiction even in the absence of Indian country.

From the Field to the Laboratory: The Theory‐Practice Research of Peter J. Carnevale

open access: yesNegotiation and Conflict Management Research, EarlyView., 2020
Abstract As colleagues and collaborators, we reflect on the work and legacy of Peter Carnevale, currently professor at the University of Southern California, and recipient of the 2002 Jeffrey Z. Rubin Theory‐to‐Practice Award of the International Association for Conflict Management (IACM). We review Carnevale’s main contributions, including his work on

Dynamic Gamut [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1978
We discuss mathematical studies of a novel structure that simultaneously support the Pythagorean Gamut as well as the Ptolomeic. The fundamental reason that unites both classical gamuts is that the two Ptolomeic ration units “10/9, 5/3, 5/4, 15/8” and “16/15, 8/5, 6/5, 9/5”, have their structural elements separated by a perfect fifth, through which it ...

A Review of Transient Characterization Techniques for Quantum Dot Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This review surveys transient characterization techniques for quantum dot light‐emitting diodes, including TRPL, TREL, TA, and E‐TA. These methods resolve carrier‐selective dynamics across multiple time scales, enabling direct analysis of charge injection, exciton formation and recombination, efficiency roll‐off, and device degradation.
