Ethylene promotes mycelial growth and ganoderic acid biosynthesis in Ganoderma lucidum
Biotechnology Letters, 2016To investigate the effects of ethylene, in the form of ethephon (2-chloroethylphosphonic acid), on mycelial growth and ganoderic acid (GA) accumulation in the higher basidiomycete Ganoderma lucidum.Treatment with both 10 and 15 mM ethephon enhanced the growth of G. lucidum on solid CYM plates and in CYM liquid medium.

Extraction and isolation of ganoderic acid Σ from Ganoderma lucidum
Tetrahedron Letters, 2016Abstract A new lanostane triterpene was extracted from Ganoderma lucidum using cellulose-dissolving ionic liquids. The structure of the isolated compound was elucidated by spectroscopic analysis, including NMR, MS, and a modified Mosher’s method. The newly isolated lanostane natural product was named ganoderic acid Σ .

Ganoderic acid Sz, a new lanostanoid from the mushroom Ganoderma lucidum
Natural Product Research, 2005A new lanostanoid, ganoderic acid SZ (1), isolated from a lipophilic extract of the fruiting body of Ganoderma lucidum, is a geometric Z-isomer of the known ganoderic acid S (2). The structure of ganoderic SZ (1) was deduced mainly by 1D and 2D NMR studies. During the course of this study, 12 known lanostanoids have also been isolated and characterized.

Experimental and Theoretical Study of the Raman Spectra of Ganoderic Acid T
Journal of Structural Chemistry, 2019Ganoderic acid T (GAT) has many pharmacological functions such as antitumor and antimycobacterial activity. However, to the best of our knowledge, no commercial high-purity GAT is available and the experimental and theoretical study of Raman spectrum of GAT has never been reported up to date. Therefore, in this work, GAT was extracted and purified from
