Wirelessly Powered Soft Magnetic Robot with Microneedle for Electrical Stimulation and Drug Delivery
A wirelessly powered soft magnetic robot integrates microneedles to enable dual functions: electrical stimulation (86.7% efficiency at 6 cm, tunable 0–20 V voltage, 0.4–50 ms pulses) and drug delivery. It switches surfaces via magnetic fields for gastrointestinal tract locomotion and treatment, with in vitro validation in fresh pig gut showing ...

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI‐MS) combined with thermodynamic modeling provides the first direct characterization of radium speciation in synthetic gastrointestinal biofluids. Free Ra2+ ions predominate with minimal protein binding and negligible EDTA complexation. Crown ethers enable effective Ra complexation.

How to Assess in vitro Probiotic Viability and the Correct Use of Neutralizing Agents
Probiotic viability is generally determined by quantifying its resistance to simulated gastric juice or to simulated intestinal fluid in in vitro tests, which measure microbial survival after given periods of contact.

Lipase in Canine Gastric Juice
Gastric lipase has been demonstrated in uncontaminated gastric juice (3, 4, 6) and within the gastric mucosa (1, 7) of man and various laboratory animals. In the present study, the effect of stimulation with histamine and Urecholine on secretion of lipase by canine Heidenhain pouches was determined.Materials and Methods.

This study firstly isolated a tuna‐derived gut probiotic Acinetobacter seifertii YFT067. Dietary administration of YFT067 played significant roles in promoting growth performance, SCFAs production, lipid absorption, and metabolism of the host, indicating YFT067 as a promising probiotic candidate for enhancing tuna aquaculture productivity through ...

Mitotane is an adrenolytic drug with cytotoxic effects, registered for the treatment of advanced adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), a rare but aggressive tumour type with a poor prognosis despite treatment. Recently, the oral multi‐kinase inhibitor cabozantinib has shown promising results as a potential second‐line treatment option.
