This study investigates laser shock peening for enhancing fatigue performance of riveted aerospace aluminum joints. A comparative approach with cold expansion combines fatigue testing and synchrotron X‐ray methods. Integrating mechanical testing with residual stress and strain characterization provides insights into how different treatments affect the ...

On a gravity dual to flavored topological quantum mechanics
In this paper, we propose a generalization of the AdS2 /CFT1 correspondence constructed by Mezei, Pufu and Wang in [1], which is the duality between 2d Yang-Mills theory with higher derivatives in the AdS2 background, and 1d topological quantum mechanics

Entanglement wedge cross section in holographic excited states
We evaluate the entanglement wedge cross section (EWCS) in asymptotically AdS geometries which are dual to boundary excited states. We carry out a perturbative analysis for calculating EWCS between the vacuum and other states for a symmetric ...

Triangle Anomalies from Einstein Manifolds
The triangle anomalies in conformal field theory, which can be used to determine the central charge a, correspond to the Chern-Simons couplings of gauge fields in AdS under the gauge/gravity correspondence. We present a simple geometrical formula for the

Adaptable Tile‐Based Pneumatic Origami through Structurally Coupled Localized Actuation
This article presents tile‐based pneumatic origami structures with rigid tiles and flexible fabric creases, achieving adaptable properties including morphing shape, selective multistability, and tunable stiffness. Independently pressurized folding bladders at each crease enable structurally coupled localized actuation of origami structures.

SYK correlators from 2D Liouville-de Sitter gravity
We introduce and study a candidate gravity dual to the double scaled SYK model in the form of an exactly soluble 2D de Sitter gravity model consisting of two spacelike Liouville CFTs with complex central charge adding up to c + + c − = 26.

QCD$_4$ Glueball Masses from AdS-6 Black Hole Description
By using the generalized version of gauge/gravity correspondence, we study the mass spectra of several typical QCD$_4$ glueballs in the framework of AdS$_6$ black hole metric of Einstein gravity theory.
