Numerical study of gluon propagators in Maximally Abelian gauge

open access: yes, 2003
Propagators of diagonal and off-diagonal gluons are studied numerically in the Maximally Abelian gauge of the SU(2) lattice gauge theory. We have found the strong enhancement of the diagonal gluon in the infrared region.

Can the scale factor be rippled?

open access: yes, 2012
We address an issue: would the cosmological scale factor be a locally oscillating quantity? This problem is examined in the framework of two classical 1+1-dimensional models: the first one is a string against a curved background, and the second one is an

Some Issues in a Gauge Model of Unparticles

open access: yes, 2008
We address in a recent gauge model of unparticles the issues that are important for consistency of a gauge theory, i.e., unitarity and Ward identity of physical amplitudes. We find that non-integrable singularities arise in physical quantities like cross

Developmental Disorders in Children Recently Diagnosed With Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Neurocognitive deficits in adult survivors of childhood cancer are well established, but less is known about developmental disorders (DD) arising shortly after cancer diagnosis. Using 2016–2019 linked Ohio cancer registry and Medicaid data, we compared DD among 324 children with cancer and 606,913 cancer‐free controls.

Clinical Characteristics and Prognostic Risk Factors for Pediatric B‐Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma: A Multicenter Retrospective Cohort Study for China Net Childhood Lymphoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background B‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (B‐LBL) represents a rare variety of non‐Hodgkin lymphoma, with limited research on its biology, progression, and management. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical characteristics of 256 patients aged ≤18 years who received treatment under the China Net Childhood Lymphoma (CNCL)‐

Minimally Unbalanced Quivers

open access: yes, 2018
We develop a classification of \emph{minimally unbalanced} $3d~\mathcal{N}=4$ quiver gauge theories. These gauge theories are important because the isometry group $G$ of their Coulomb branch contains a single factor, which is either a classical or an ...

Exercise Interventions in Children, Adolescents and Young Adults With Paediatric Bone Tumours—A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bone tumours present significant challenges for affected patients, as multimodal therapy often leads to prolonged physical limitations. This is particularly critical during childhood and adolescence, as it can negatively impact physiological development and psychosocial resilience.

Mtric from Non-Metric Action of Gravity

open access: yes, 1992
The action of general relativity proposed by Capovilla, Jacobson and Dell is written in terms of $SO(3)$ gauge fields and gives Ashtekar's constraints for Einstein gravity. However, it does not depend on the space-time metric nor its signature explicitly.

A Comparative Study of Cerebral Oxygenation During Exercise in Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Patients

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment and exercise intolerance are common in dialysis patients. Cerebral perfusion and oxygenation play a major role in both cognitive function and exercise execution; HD session per se aggravates cerebral ischemia in this population. This study aimed to compare cerebral oxygenation and perfusion at rest and in mild

Higgs mechanism and cosmological constant in $$N=1$$ N = 1 supergravity with inflaton in a vector multiplet

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
The $$N=1$$ N = 1 supergravity models of cosmological inflation with an inflaton belonging to a massive vector multiplet and spontaneous SUSY breaking after inflation are reformulated as the supersymmetric U(1) gauge theories of a massless vector ...
