Studies on variability, correlation and path analysis of traits contributing to fruit yield and its components in okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench)

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2017
The present investigation was conducted to estimate genetic parameters such as genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV), phenotypic coefficient of variation (PCV), heritability and genetic advance (GA) along with correlations and path coefficients from ...

Period Analysis using the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (Lasso)

open access: yes, 2012
We introduced least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (lasso) in obtaining periodic signals in unevenly spaced time-series data. A very simple formulation with a combination of a large set of sine and cosine functions has been shown to yield a ...

Maribavir for Cytomegalovirus Infection in High‐Risk Kidney Transplant Recipients: A Case Series

open access: yesIJU Case Reports, Volume 9, Issue 3, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection remains a common complication after kidney transplantation, particularly among high‐risk donor‐seropositive/recipient‐seronegative (D+/R−) recipients. Valganciclovir is the standard first‐line therapy; however, its use may be limited by hematological toxicity or impaired graft function. Maribavir is a

The Effect of Iclepertin on Hematological Parameters: An Overview of Nonclinical Studies and Clinical Trials in Healthy Volunteers and Patients with Cognitive Impairment Associated with Schizophrenia

open access: yesThe Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 66, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract There are currently no approved pharmacotherapies to treat cognitive impairment associated with schizophrenia (CIAS). Iclepertin (BI 425809) is a selective glycine transporter‐1 (GlyT1) inhibitor that was investigated for the treatment of CIAS.

Valorization of Garcinia humilis Residues in Active Collagen/Starch Films for Biodegradable Packaging Applications

open access: yesPackaging Technology and Science, Volume 39, Issue 5, Page 517-531, May 2026.
Residues from Garcinia humilis were used to obtain a phenolic‐rich extract (GHRE) and incorporated into collagen–starch films. The addition of GHRE improved antioxidant activity, thermal stability and elasticity, while reducing water vapour permeability.

Genetic evaluation of climate resilient sugarcane clones under waterlogged condition

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding
Waterlogging, an abiotic stress situation, affects sugarcane yields by 15-20 percent. The present study sought to identify sugarcane clones suitable for waterlogging conditions.

OCReP: An Optimally Conditioned Regularization for Pseudoinversion Based Neural Training

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we consider the training of single hidden layer neural networks by pseudoinversion, which, in spite of its popularity, is sometimes affected by numerical instability issues.

Modelling non‐linear psychological processes: Reviewing and evaluating non‐parametric approaches and their applicability to intensive longitudinal data

open access: yesBritish Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology, Volume 79, Issue 2, Page 263-293, May 2026.
Abstract Psychological concepts are increasingly understood as complex dynamic systems that change over time. To study these complex systems, researchers are increasingly gathering intensive longitudinal data (ILD), revealing non‐linear phenomena such as asymptotic growth, mean‐level switching, and regulatory oscillations.
