ChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.Electrodeposited MnCoOX and MnNiCoOX spinels on Ni foam are evaluated as binder‐free, platinum group metal‐free cathodes in direct ammonia fuel cells. MnCoOX matches and surpasses Pt in oxygen reduction performance while tolerating ammonia crossover, whereas Ni incorporation dilutes the active Co–Mn sites and degrades performance.
