Follow‐up by general practitioners after LSIL or treated HSIL was associated with higher loss to follow‐up rates compared with gynecologist‐led care. Loss to follow‐up was 38.1% versus 16.6% for LSIL at 12 months and 44.3% versus 24.1% for treated HSIL at 24 months.
