Bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical in plastics, exerts dual effects on bladder cancer cells: low doses promote growth and migration, while high doses suppress growth and migration. Multi‐omics and bioinformatics reveal BPA acts via MAPK and inflammatory pathways.

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

Analysis of Gene‐Gene Interactions
Current Protocols in Human Genetics, 2017AbstractThe goal of this unit is to introduce epistasis, or gene‐gene interactions, as a significant contributor to the genetic architecture of complex traits, including disease susceptibility. This unit begins with an historical overview of the concept of epistasis and the challenges inherent in the identification of potential gene‐gene interactions ...

Assessing Gene-Gene Interactions in Pharmacogenomics
Molecular Diagnosis & Therapy, 2012In pharmacogenomics studies, gene-gene interactions play an important role in characterizing a trait that involves complex pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic mechanisms, particularly when each involved feature only demonstrates a minor effect. In addition to the candidate gene approach, genome-wide association studies (GWAS) are widely utilized to ...
